Job Summary
The Client Executive is responsible for expanding in an existing territory and acquiring new business in a strategic capacity. By positioning NetApp's Products, Solutions, Data Services and Support to customer as well as maintaining positive on-going relationships to meet evolving customer needs. You will also be responsible for collaborating with Channel Partners to manage sales activity within your territory.
Your overall focus areas will be in prospecting, developing business opportunities, creating proposals for presentation to customers, and booking business for NetApp. Cross-functional teams from NetApp's major BU’s provide support and tools for you to leverage to attain and exceed sales performance goals. You will utilize your excellent relationship building, negotiating, and advanced value selling techniques to be successful in this role.
The primary responsibilities of the Client Executive to work directly with the focused customers and prospects and provide value added solutions that help customer achieve their business goals.
Responsibilities include: Use relationship management techniques to develop selling opportunities within your territory. Develop, manage, and grow a pipeline of sales opportunities directly and with key Channel Partners within your territory to expand sales revenues—Excel in communication, collaboration, and accountability with opportunities, coordinating with additional support resources as needed. Develop new contacts at various levels and buyer profiles (Cloud Architect, Application Developer, Chief Data Scientist, Chief Information Officer, etc.).

Job Requirements
Strong verbal and written communications skills in English, including presentation skills. (French Preferable)
Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the department and across functions.
Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
Ability to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help the customer make buying decisions.
Build and maintain updated selling activity notes in NetApp’s customer resource management system, and accurately forecast business opportunities.
Market knowledge of the Canadian Federal Government organization structure
Understanding and functional awareness of the Federal Procurement Vehicles
Education
This individual effectively works with, and influences senior internal personnel within the function, employees in other functions that support the sales effort, external partners, and has direct customer contact. Limited management supervision and direction is provided since this individual operates and drives results independently. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert and strongly influences sales team decisions and initiatives.
Typically requires at least 8 years selling comparable technologies.
Ability to Travel when required.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $329,420 - $398,000 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
